Execute Work New UI
From the Navigation Sidebar, select 'Maintenance' and from the Navigation Dropdown, select 'Operational' or simply click on the Operational tile on the Maintenance Dashboard.
Now select the 'Execute' tab to view the Work Orders in this status within the workflow.
This section displays all work orders that require execution and have been assigned to either an individual or a Work Group:
The following information is displayed:

Checkbox (
): You can select multiple Work Orders to perform a bulk operation.

Status: Automatically populated field that displays the Work Order status.

ID: Automatically populated field that draws on the unique Work Order ID.
-
Description: Automatically populated with the description information that was entered while creating the Work Order.
-
Asset ID: The unique identifier of the affected Asset selected for the Work Order.
-
Asset Name: Automatically populated field that displays the name of the affected Asset.
-
Work Type: Automatically populated field that displays the work type.
-
Failure: The Failure Code selected for the Work Order.
-
Remedy: The Remedy Code selected for the Work Order.
Once the list of Assigned Work Orders is available, click on the pencil () to the right of each row, which will allow viewing of the Work Order details:
Planning

Priority: The priority is selected from a drop-down list. The priority is configured in the Admin Maintenance area and is linked to an asset type. This assists in generating the Due Date.

Due Date: The service level agreement (SLA) due date is automatically generated after the priority has been selected.

Target Start: This field contains the date and time which the work is scheduled to start. This is a mandatory field based on the date and time the Work Request has been received.

Target Finish: This field contains the date and time which the work is scheduled to finish. This is a mandatory field based on the date and time the Work Request has been received.

Estimated Duration (Hour): This field is manually entered based on the expected time it would take for the work order to be completed. The estimated duration uses Hours as the Unit Type.
Execution

Schedule Start: This field contains the date and time which the work is scheduled to start. This field must be populated before the Work Order can progress to Ready for Execution.

Schedule Finish: This field contains the date and time which the work is scheduled to finish. This field must be populated before the Work Order can progress to Ready for Execution.

Actual Start: This field contains the date and time at which the work actually started. If this field is empty when labour is completed by a resource, the field is automatically populated with the earliest date and time that work was completed by a resource.

Actual Finish: This field contains the date and time at which the work actually finished. If this field is empty when labour is completed by a resource, the field is automatically populated with the latest date and time that work was completed by a resource.
Work Tasks

Task: Automatically generated Work Task ID that is sequential and increases by units of 10.

Description: A free text field to add a brief description of the Work Task.
A new Work Task can be created by clicking on the plus (mceclip15.png) icon in the top right hand corner.
Clicking on the (mceclip3.png) button allows for the Work Tasks to be updated.
To delete an entry, click on the 3 dots (mceclip16.png) icon on the far right hand side and select Delete.
A Work Task cannot be deleted if it has been linked to Labour, Resources, Services or Materials.
Labour

Task: Shows the linked Work Task ID, if configured.

Work Group: The Work Group for the selected Craft.

Craft: The selected Craft.
-
Quantity: Number of the selected Craft required.
-
Hours Required: The expected number of hours required to complete the labour.
A new Labour value can be created by clicking on the plus () icon in the top right hand corner.
Clicking on the () button allows for editing.
To delete an entry, click on the 3 dots () icon on the far right hand side and select Delete.
Resources

Task: Shows the linked Work Task ID, if configured.

Craft: The selected Craft.

Resource: The Resource that has been assigned to work on the Craft.

Actual Hours: Actual time spent on the Work Task by the Resource.

Actual Start: The actual date and time the Resource started the Work Task.

Actual Finish: The actual date and time the Resource finished the Work Task.
A new Resource can be allocated to a Work Task by clicking on the plus () icon in the top right hand corner.
An existing Resource and work hours/times can be edited either by clicking on the pencil () icon on the far right or by editing the fields in the table itself.
To delete an entry, click on the 3 dots () icon on the far right hand side and select Delete.
Status Icons in the first column on the left for each Work Task represent the following:

: A Work Task is yet to have a Resource assigned to it.

: A Work Task has had a Resource assigned to it but is yet to be completed.
-
: A Work Task has been completed by the Resource that was allocated to it.
A Resource must be assigned to a Work Task to be able to edit a Work Order.
All the Resources must be in a Completed state to be able to complete a Work Order.
Materials

Checkbox: Indicates if the selected Material is available or not This will impact the ability to progress the Work Order.

Task: Shows the linked Work Task ID, if configured.

Description: A brief description of the selected Material.

Planned Quantity: The expected amount of Material required.

Actual Quantity: The actual amount of Material used.
Materials can be added by clicking on the plus () icon in the top right hand corner.
Clicking on the () button allows for the materials to be updated.
To delete an entry, click on the 3 dots () icon on the far right hand side and select Delete.
Services

Task: Shows the linked Work Task ID, if configured.

Description: A brief description of the Service. This can be pre-filled by selecting a Service Activity from the Service Activity drop-down when adding a Service.

Planned Quantity: The planned amount of Service required.

Planned Unit Rate: The planned per-unit cost of the Service.

Actual Quantity: The actual amount of Service required.
-
Actual Unit Rate: The actual per-unit cost of the Service.
Services can be added by clicking on the plus () icon in the top right hand corner.
Clicking on the () button allows for the Services to be edited.
To delete an entry, click on the 3 dots () icon on the far right hand side and select Delete.
The above-discussed sections are mandatory to be filled to Execute a Work order. Once these sections are populated with relevant details, click on "TCOMP" in the Workflow Status Bar at the bottom of the window:
This will Execute a Work Order and a confirmation message for saved changes is displayed as shown below:
The status of the Work Order will now be changed from 'In Progress' to 'Tech Complete' (TCOMP), as shown below:
